No, you can’t deny women their basic rights and pretend it’s about your “religious freedom.” If you don’t like birth control, don’t use it. Religious freedom doesn’t mean you can force others to live by your own beliefs.

Health “Teachers”
My mother told me to write this out to give to whoever wants it when we report this…”teacher”. Though, I’ll edit this into a more appropriate statement to give to the school/board of ed.
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve had some issues in my health class—The main one being that I’m extremely upset by the material. Not because I’m offended by it in a religious way, but because it is complete and total bullshit. As someone who has faced the majority of issues discussed in this class, the fact that false information is being fed tv these students is extremely upsetting to me.
To add to this initial problem, I wasn’t in school for a few days in the beginning of the year. So, obviously I had missed some class work. When I went to ask this “teacher” a term I am using loosley. About what work I had to make up, she said nothing helpful and asked me to leave because she had a class coming in.
Someone please, for the love of god tell me how I was supposed to make up this work?!
Because she was of no help, I decided I had to drop the class and try it again another semester, since I’ve been very upset about several different things happening in my personal life. When that didn’t work because of scheduling problems, my case manager offered me an independent study, instead of taking the class. A wonderful solution! But you see, independent studies take time to work out, and even more time to be approved! So, I was told to sit and wait in this “teachers” class room until everything had been cleared. Take note of the fact that I have no control over getting this approved.
Now, a few weeks ago I had reported her to my case manager, on account of a video she had shown in class that made light, and even made jokes about depression, and anxiety disorders, both of which I deal with everyday myself. I didn’t do this lightly, as I really don’t like getting people in trouble, but I was extremely offended by the video, and decided my only option was to report it so it didn’t happen again.
I suppose word of this got back to my “teacher”, and she had been pretty obviously unhappy with me for several days, yelling at me in the middle of class for no reason, death glares, all that. But today, this….”teacher” took it way too far. Esspecailly, considering the fact that she had been made aware of the independent study, and all of my personal issues/anxiety disorder.
My classes start at fourth period. Generally I get there early and sit outside the entrance to the school waiting for third period to end. Today this “teacher” ran out of the building and turned around when she realized it was me she had passed, she turned around and without a greeting screamed, “You better get out of my class, I don’t know why you’re still here. Get yourself out of my class.” Confused, and already slightly upset I said something to the tune of, “I’m sorry, I”m trying…There’s not much else I can do…” And then, this is where she screwed herself over. “You’re not trying. Get your self to your guidance counselor. If you were trying you would be out of here by now. You’re lazy, and you’re a waste of my time. Get out of my class, I’m serious.” After this she stormed away.
Sorry, “teacher”. You fucked yourself over. I CAN’T WAIT to see what the school does with you, you insensitive piece of shit!

Flare ups
Flare ups. God. Fucking. Damnit.
Sitting hurts, standing hurts, breathing hurts, and everything I eat has the potential to kill me. I’ve been in bed for almost 30 hours.

You know whats odd?
When you find the spider in your room that has been biting you every night for over a week—-And feel too bad to kill it.
Women’s courage is rather different from men’s. The fact that women have to bring up children and look after husbands makes them braver at facing long-term issues, such as illness. Men are more immediately courageous. Lots of people are brave in battle.
